Dressing for the festive season

As both my paycheck and Winter approach I find myself looking at beautiful dresses and wishing they were mine. One site in particular has caught my eye. https://www.Stylefruits.co.uk/

The dresses are absolutely beautiful and they are also affordable. The site offers a wide range of brands and styles making it suitable for everyone's needs. I in particular love long gowns. They are so classy and you really feel amazing when you wear them. In the winter they are great because they hide any dryness in our legs as a result of the harsh cold weather, and if like me you're quite small you get to wear fabulously giant high heels with them!

I absolutely love dressing up and this site is perfect for those of you on a budget to do so. So have a browse and see if there is something for you. The dresses are beautiful and perfect for the festive season!

No more chapped lips in Winter

Massage your lips using a soft toothbrush and some toothpaste. This is a fantastic way to remove the dead cells and improves lip tone dramatically. Always apply a balm afterwards.
This is a quick and easy way to improve the appearance of your lips and it doesn't require much effort at all.

Monthly read as promised...

Okay, so I promised you a monthly read. So here goes. About six months ago my boyfriend broke up with me; I was heartbroken (or so I thought) anyway, as I went on holiday with my friends three months later I wasn't expecting any of what would happen.

Within minutes of arriving I was in a pickle because my extremely over sized and over packed suitcase was far too heavy for me to lift. I stood stranded at the top of the staircase as my friends giggled on about how typical a situation it was for me to be in. Fortunately a beautiful young man (six pack; the works) came to my rescue! Now it was I giggling as they look onwards with their "green" eyes.

Furthermore; before going I did not think I would enjoy the holiday at all. I wasn't looking forward to it. I was however determine to make the best of whatever it was to be. And that I did. I had the time  of my life, really. No one would have guessed how upset I was before going. It was like I was a new person. Was I ?

I was free. Finally, I had left my hurt behind and had finally started to forget and move on. As the holiday continued; w went out every night (a little drunk); danced and forgot about everything that had happened prior to the holiday.

I had worked hard to get my bikini bodily (lies, i baked and ate a carrot cake before going) but I felt fantastic. It must have shown, because I was getting attention from guys who I would never expect to even notice me. My best friend and I, played around with this a little. We would go out and socialise (but ensure both of us got back to the apartment with put dignity intact each night. We had fun and it really was the best time.

When we returned home t rainy Scotland, we weren't sad. We did wish another week or so on holiday, but we couldn't stay. So we returned home (after many an airport fiasco (Nicole and I lost each other on the last night and ended up searching for each; followed by an all nighter getting really drunk and not knowing the hand luggage allowances.)

So one day we decided to go out. I bumped into a boy I knew from school (we'd had like two conversations before this encounter) we chatted a little and then he asked to go for a drink sometime. Thinking nothing of it. I agreed (I was moving to France for a year two months later and everyone knew I wasn't looking for anything. I even told him this at the time) just mates I said. He agreed, but that wasn't what he had in mind. He took my number and off I went.

A day later. I received a text. What ever happened to the three day rule ? A week later We went for that "drink" after a few he started telling me how he had liked me for ages and that he was actually on his way home to ask me out the night he bumped into me. Slightly creeped out by his keenness I hurried the night to an end. Said thank you and went home.

But that wasn't the end of it. Not even close. He would send me constant messages and drunk call me all the time. I thought if I ignored it; it would go away, right? Wrong. He kept his persistence and despite me telling a little fib that my phone wasn't working. He didn't stop. I would find myself swearing at my phone (i never swear) I was becoming annoyed and frustrated and still there seemed to be no end. I didn't not reply as when The time came for me to move to France; I thought that would be it. He spent some time waiting outside my house. And even said he was coming to say goodbye ans that he had gotten me a going away present, and then Facebook was his new tool. He would send constant messages "I'm sorry if this seems clingy..." Emm yes, it does! He just wouldn't get it! Eventually I got help from a friend who showed my how to blocked someone on Facebook (I can't work technology) Relieved I grinned and thought that would be it. Over. But no, he then started sending messages to my friend to tell me to get in contact. I was furious. What made him think he had the right to tell me what to do! I was alarmed and a little shaken. Despite living in a different country, i would be spending a few days in Scotland every month. What if I bumped into him again. The thought still haunts me. Now I'm very careful when it comes to guys. To be honest imm actually terrified

Dress for your body shape...

As a small girl Height 5"1,5 and Weight 46 Kg. I have many problems when it comes to finding clothes for my body shape. The main problem being boobs. Everyone thinks: boobs are great! Well that's not exactly the case. I am a very petite girl, but my boobs are not, hence the problem finding clothes to suit me. The problem is that companies make clothes for IDEALS rather than REAL body shapes, and so we are left with the problem of having to settle.

If like me you refuse to buy something that is really appealing rather than just buying because "it'll do" then you'll have the problem of having a few select items in your wardrobe due to lack of availability. For girls, it's a nightmare!

All body shapes are beautiful and we should learn to embrace our curves and accept ourselves for who we are. However, this is extremely difficult with the unrealistic image of the "IDEAL" that exists in society today.
We are no longer able to wear what we want, but instead what has been previously selected for us by fashion designers, taking away  our ability to express ourselves by the clothes we wear.

Until recently I hated my body. I felt so disproportionate. And felt like bursting into tears because I simply couldn't find a nice top that would fit around my waist without making my boobs bulge, or one that would swamp me and completely hide my figure. After all what the point in having curves if you can flaunt them?

My biggest problem was that the particular style I love is made for more flat chested girl than I, and so I was forced to settle, so I never felt happy in what I wore.

Shopping became too time consuming and what was once a hobby was becoming a chore. I was getting frustrated and annoyed that nothing would suit.

If like me; you too have had this problem. You have my sympathy. But as I know how aggravating it can be, I would like to share some tips for dressing for your body shape...

If like me you have an HOURGLASS shape with large breasts, then you need to wear clothes that accentuate your curves. wear clothes that pull in at the waist, wear belts around your waistand always wear a good fitting bra. Skinny jeans are great. Shirts with a vest underneath and a belt to pull in look fantastic and bandage style skirts are also great!

If you are STRAIGHT up and down, then you should wear clothes that give the illusion of curves. A skatet skirt or dress with do the tricks. Loose fitting tops and blouses will do the trick of making your shape appear more feminine. Skinny jeans with a floaty blouse and blazer is a great combination for girls with this figure.

If you have an Apple shape, wear long tops with a belt around the waist to create the illusion of curves and also to accentuate your assets. Long dresses always look great on this figure and team with a cropped jacket will always make you feel sassy and feminine.

If you are PEAR shaped, wear strapless tops and dresses to show off your petite top half. Wear clothes that flare from the waist down. Pop a slim belt across your smallest part. Wear shoulder parts to broaden shoulders and balance your waist to shoulder ratio.Wear dark colours on your bottom half to minimise wise hips. Invest in a good bra. A padded bra will add on a little if your having outfit trouble.

I hope that this article has helped you in some way or another when it comes to finding clothes for your body shape. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and i'll answer as best I can!

Stop Dry feet in the winter...

Dry feet can be extremely painful, especially during the winter months. Central heating can dry out the skin and can make dry feet worse. To prevent this and have party ready feet, pop on some bed socks over moisturizer at night to ensure super soft feet all the time!

*Top tip. Always wear slippers or socks around the house as walking in bare feet causes dryness and flakyness.

*top tip. Try thick moisturizers such as Diprobase. They tackle each layer of the skin and also give fast results!

Feeling blushed...

To find out where you should be wearing your blusher, bend over for a few seconds and add to the flushed par of the cheek.

To create a more defined look, use a beige shade and brush just under your newly blushed cheeks.

Banish tired looking legs...

The reason our legs can look really tired is due to circulation problems.

Sleep with a pillow underneath your feet at night or have them slightly raised to promote blood circulation. In just a few days you'll see results and have healthier looking legs in no time!

Apply a body shimmer when going out to add extra glow to make your skin appear more youthful!

Don't over do it! Try to keep it as natural looking as possible.

Need to cover a scar ? Caster oil is said to reduce the appearance of scars over time, but for a quick fix add a little concealer and dab it on, as though it never existed!

Apply leg moisturisers in circular motions to boost circulation. Massage on for better results.

Quick tip...

To make your lipstick stay on longer and keep lips moisturised: Apply a thin layer of vaseline before applying the lipstick!
